Do you want to start the month off with a smile? On April 1st Adam Ferrara is going LIVE at the Marconi! Adam is a big comedian who has had many big shows and opportunities. Tickets are $50-$65 and the show is from 8-9:30 pm.

Wanna have fun on a budget? Tustin gives you that opportunity! Are you getting ready too fast or wanna learn more about different cultures? At the Atomas Annual IFTAR dinner, you can! On April 9th from 6-9 pm, there is going to be free food, live oriental music, and socializing. This dinner is dedicated to Ramadan coming soon. Ramadan is a time when Muslims fast, so go here for more information and eat up!

 

Have you been wanting to start a small business? Maybe you already have one! On April 13th from 5-8:30 pm, the SBDC Small Business Clinic is giving anyone an amazing opportunity. Small business owners will meet with an SBDC consultant one on one for 30 minutes. Including a primary consultant for follow-up questions. Make sure you register a time slot beforehand though as this closes up on April 12th.

Motivated to make the world a better place? Well, you can start with Tustin at the UNA-OC Chapter Monthly Meeting where everyone is welcome. On April 15th from 9:30-11:30 at the Anatolia Cultural Center, you can help make a first step. They work towards local sustainable development, youth engagement, partnership, advocacy, and overall making the world a better place. Some topics the group regularly discusses include the following: no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clean water, and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation, infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace, justice, strong institutions, and partnerships for the goals. If you are interested in discussing sustainable development then this is for you!

 

Feeling outgoing? Interfaith High School is hosting an Iftar dinner on April 16th from 5:30-8:30 pm. You would get to enjoy Turkish foods, meet new people, and enjoy live music and speakers. Plus at the end of the night, there will be a Kahoot game to win prizes. Dress semi-formal and go have fun at the Anatolia Cultural Center. Outdoorsy Activities

Looking for more things to do with some fresh air? There are tons! Farmers market? Nah, Dreamers market! On April 15th from 10 am to 3 pm go see the market that makes dreams come true. There will be shopping at the outdoor market, with handmade crafted goods, and amazing food, all while enjoying music at the El Camino Plaza. As well as a craft area for kid's face painting and balloon twister. Want to follow your dreams? Check out this fun event.

No plans for Easter yet? Tustin will change that with all that’s available this month. On April 8th from 8 am to 12 pm, there's an egg hunt and pancake breakfast plus some extra activities in between. At 8 am: pancake breakfast, 8:30 am: public art dedication, 9 am: games/attractions open and egg hunt begins, 9:20: kids freeze dance, 9-11:45 am: petting zoo, train rides, and jumpers, 9:15-11:30: pictures with the easter bunny, and 10:30-11:15: BMX show. Wow, that is a lot but definitely a morning full of fun!

 

Community Yard Sale! April 15th from 8-12 pm there will be a huge community yard sale in the Civic Center parking lot. Looking to tour around a bit more? Here are the more popular choices. Remember the comedy show I talked about at the beginning? Well, that is being hosted at the Marconi Automotive Center, which is a super cool place to visit separate from the show. If you are into cars this is the place for you. There's a collection of over 100 vehicles that sum up to the price of about $60 million! The cars consist of different types of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, muscle cars, race cars, motorcycles, memorabilia, and more. The suggested/estimated time spent here is 1-2 hours.

 

Want to explore some awesome creativity? Go to the Chemers Art Gallery. There's a large variety of artwork in many different styles like paintings, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, glass, and woodwork.

 

Go on the Orange County Coastal Sightseeing Tour and see the natural beauty of the southern coast. You will travel along the Pacific to witness some of the area's top destinations. Those include Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, and Donna Point. For about 6-7 hours, ages 11-90 can enjoy this tour for $130 per person.
